Accumulated Head Blow Moulding Machines (AHBM) are a type of blow molding machine used to produce hollow plastic containers, such as bottles and containers, by blowing air into a parison (hollow tube) of heated plastic material inside a mold.
AHBM machines have multiple extruder heads that feed melted plastic into a common accumulator. The accumulator stores the plastic and delivers it to the extruder heads simultaneously, allowing for uniform distribution of the plastic material. This helps to ensure consistent wall thickness throughout the container, which is important for ensuring its structural integrity and durability.
AHBM machines are commonly used in the production of high-quality plastic containers, such as those used for pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and food products. They offer a number of advantages over other types of blow molding machines, including improved product consistency, reduced cycle times, and increased production efficiency.
